Property Tax Consulting

Many businesses pay thousands of dollars a year in excess property taxes to state, county, and local taxing authorities. In many instances, the reason for the overpayment is unfair assessment due to limitations of appraisal districts' abilities to value properties properly and because most individuals and businesses are not equipped with the knowledge and resources to appeal property tax valuations effectively.

LaPorte is pleased to be able to offer the following property tax consulting services:

General Services
  • Gather and review industry-related data pertaining to the property type along with a review of income and current sales data
  • File appeals and or contest inaccurate assessments
  • Review existing appraisals, site plans, and lease documents and review recent sale documentation and site inspection, if needed
  • Conduct an audit of the county records to identify errors
