Michele Buckingham

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Michele is a director with LaPorte and leads the firm’s branding and business development initiatives. For over a decade before joining the firm in 2010, Michele ran a business growth consulting company, serving professional service firms – including LaPorte. Prior to that, she served in management positions with a Big Four firm in both New Orleans and Houston and two large financial institutions.

Throughout her career, Michele has focused on research; strategy development; positioning and branding; marketing and business growth initiatives; advertising and communications; business development coaching and training; and business process improvement.

Education/Certification:

• B. A. Speech, Louisiana State University

• Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), member
• Delta Delta Delta Houston Chapter, alumna and former board member
