Director of Audit and Assurance Services

Richard serves as a director in Audit and Assurance Services at LaPorte.

Rich has 22 years of experience in public accounting, including 17 of those with national firms. Before joining the firm, Richard was a director in Hidalgo Banfill Zlotnik Kermali, PC until the two firms merged on December 1, 2010. He also held senior financial management positions in industry for 10 years, including positions with Halliburton Company and Stage Stores. Rich has experience in audits of public and privately held companies, financial management, and SEC financial reporting. His industry experience includes upstream and downstream energy and energy services, construction, manufacturing, retail and distribution, technology, real estate, insurance, and professional services.

• B.A. Business Administration with Accounting Specialty, Gettysburg College, 1977
• Certified Public Accountant
